• One eight inch tall plain religous candle (found at most grocery stores)
• One sheet translucent printed rice paper (this one is from GPC papers)
• Nori all purpose paste
• Mizuhiki ribbon
• Glue brush
• Scissors
• mat knife with sharp blade
• cutting surface

Instructions

• Cut a sheet of decorative rice paper 7 1/2" x 9"
• Lightly coat the outside of the glass with Nori All Purpose paste. You can spread it easily with your fingers or use a glue brush.
• Lay the paper pattern side down, and roll the glass over it until it wraps all the way around.
• Position the paper on the glass until the seams meet. Nori paste allows for a little positioning time before getting sticky.
• Smooth out any bubbles in the paper gently with your fingers or a damp brush without tearing the paper.
• At the bottom of the candle cut the paper about 1/2" apart and fold up onto the bottom. Smooth with fingers.
• After the candle dries, tie a piece of Mizuhiki ribbon at the top to finish.
