Origami Frame

'Tis the season to fold up some fun! Make a holiday picture frame ornament to decorate your tree or spruce up a greeting card. This origami project is easy to do and you can create several for each member of your family for a memorable celebration. Follow our simple directions and watch the how-to video!


Supplies

  • 1 sheet double sided foil origami paper 6" square (item number #4421)
  • Bone folder
  • Gold string, Mizuhiki cord or ribbon
  • Colored paper for the back
  • Double stick tape

Instructions



With the solid color facing down, fold the ornament according to the diagram. Click on the diagram to it view larger. After folding, insert the 2" photo into the pocket and secure with a small piece of double stick tape. Make a loop for the hanger and attach with the tape. Cut a sheet of colored paper or metallic sticker paper 3" square and use the double stick tape to adhere it to the back of the frame so it will cover the hanging loop. Personalize with markers, stickers or glitter.
