Blank t-shirt white 100% cotton
Foam flower stamp (Making Memories, Plaid and others)
Large foam letter stamps (Magnetic Poetry, Making Memories)
Y&C FabricMate  chisel or brush tip markers in the following colors:
Orange (NFP300F)
Magenta (NFP300M)
Violet (NFP300V)
Viridian (NFP30AD)
Permawriter .5mm (NSP205A)
Spray bottle filled with water
T-shirt board (Something to insert in the shirt to make a flat painting surface)
Contact shelf liner paper

Instructions

    1.    Wash and iron your shirt before applying artwork
    2.    Cut a sheet of contact paper and place it under the area you wish to decorate. Doing this will create a flat, non-slip surface to decorate.
    3.    Create the layout for the shirt using the foam letters and flower stamps.
    4.    Color the foam stamps directly using the orange Fabric Mate and spray lightly with water.
    5.    Press colored side down onto the shirt. You will achieve a nice watercolor effect.
    6.    Immediately apply the orange FabricMate to the upper and lower parts of the letter while still damp which will give a dimensional blended effect.
    7.    Repeat steps 4-6 on all of the letters.
    8.    Stamp the flower using the Magenta FabricMate and color the edges and center while it is still damp for a blended effect.
    9.    After the fabric dries, detail around the outside of each letter  and the flower using the Permawriter fine line pen.
    10.    Repeat the steps above on the back of the shirt using the Violet and Viridian FabricMate markers.
    11.    Let the artwork dry for 24 hours before washing. Heat setting is not required!

 

Stamp directly on fabric after coloring the foam stamps with FabricMate.

Outline the letters with the Permawriter after drying.
