Scrapbooking on the Wall

Use traditional Japanese art supplies to make a scrapbook page that hangs on the wall! Painted Shikishi board is the foundation for this non-tradtional layout. Elegant Mizuhiki ribbons are teamed with beautiful origami papers to create a frame for a favorite photo. This project was featured on TV Weekly.

Fold up a beautiful paper lampshade and cast a soft glow of light to enhance any room. In this project a light fixture with an outdated lampshade was used as the base. The paper shade can also be set over a glass candle for a beautiful luminaria. Fold several paper shades in different sizes for a dramatic effect.
