Carefully
pick up the wet tissue and hang it up by clothespins until
dry. Coat other side of tissue using the same steps as before.
Brayer additional coats of gesso if you want heavier paper.
Be
sure to wash your brayer thoroughly to keep it soft.
Select
a few acrylic colors for your paper. Plan a color scheme such
as violets and blues, yellows and browns etc. Thin the colors
to the consistency of sour cream with matte medium or water.
Coat the brayer evenly with the paint and lightly roll the brayer
from the center out to the edges of the paper. This process will
deposit a broken layer of paint, an effect that is desirable!
Dry the paint with a hairdryer and follow with another color. If
you alternate between light and dark colors you will have a stunning
effect. Repeat process until the surface is covered. Adding
interference colors will create a luminescent effect.
