Instructions:

Clean a rock off with water
and let dry completely. Cover rock with light weigt paper
carefully using the Nori paste. Wrap and fold around
the rock as you go and smooth down paper edges with your
fingers. Let dry. Collage scraps of printed rayon paper
over the front and back surface of the rock.
Cut a piece of
redline tape to fit around the circumference
of the rock. Press firmly on rock. Remove
backing and attach paper cords or cording
to tape wrapping tightly. Trim edges.
Cut another piece of tape to wrap around
the other section of the rock and apply
cords the same way.
Finish off by attaching the coin, bamboo
and tassel to the raw edges of the cord with hot glue or
cement.
Apply acrylic gloss varnish when dry. If
you want a natural look, use a matte varnish to seal.
Note:
Chinese Coins have always been
a popular symbol of wealth and prosperity. The square
in the center represents the energy of the earth, while
the circle represents the essence of spirit. Combined,
they drive the power of wealth and abundance, and when
energized with a red/silver thread, they are transformed
into powerful emblems of prosperity.
