Problems Viewing PDF Files
If you are having problems viewing these documents,
check this list below for possible solutions:
1. When I click on the link I see a "Save Document" window.
You need to install Acrobat Reader.
2. When I click on the link I see a blank page. The browser says
that I am done and the address to the PDF document appears in the address
field of the browser. The most likely reason for this
problem is that you have your security set too high to display the document.
3. If you use Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.05 or later and you're having
problems viewing, printing, or downloading .pdf files" Try modifying your
Reader preferences:
Close your browser Open Acrobat Reader Select the "File" menu Select "Preferences"
Select "General" In the "Options" portion of the dialog box, make sure
that the "x" beside "Web Browser Integration" is not clicked.
After you've followed these instructions, when you're using your browser
and click on a hyperlink to a .pdf document, it will open in a separate
window. If you're still having problems after modifying your Reader preferences,
you can download the .pdf file onto your own computer:
When you're at a hyperlink to the .pdf file but haven't yet opened
the file:
Internet Explorer: Right-click on the hyperlinked
.pdf file name and select "Save Target As." Then save the document in
any directory and access the file through your Reader.
Netscape: Right-click on the hyperlink and select
"Save Link As." Then save the document in any directory and access the
file with your Reader. When you've already opened the .pdf file:
Internet Explorer: Select "File" and then "Save
As" in your Web browser's toolbar and save in the directory of your choice.
Access the file with your Reader.
Netscape: Select "File" and then "Open page"
in your Web browser's toolbar. In the menu box, select "Choose file" and
save the document in any directory. Access the file with your Reader.
